英文書(shū)信是一種最常用的應(yīng)用文體，對(duì)于普通的私人信件通常由五部分組成：
1.信頭：指發(fā)信人的地址和日期。寫(xiě)在信紙的右上角，可以從靠近信紙的中央寫(xiě)起。信頭上面要留空白。先寫(xiě)發(fā)信人地址。地址的寫(xiě)法與漢語(yǔ)不同，要先寫(xiě)小地方，后寫(xiě)大地方。在地址的下面寫(xiě)上日期。日期的順序是：月、日、年，或者：日、月、年。例如：may 17 __。在年份之前有一個(gè)逗號(hào)。
2.稱(chēng)呼：指對(duì)收信人的稱(chēng)呼。寫(xiě)在信頭之下，從信紙的左邊開(kāi)始。寫(xiě)信給熟悉的人，一般用dear…或my dear…作稱(chēng)呼。如：dear li lei，dear miss thomas或my dear dad.
